"MAKING A DIFFERENCE"
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
Our Need
Assistance League of Colorado Springs is in critical need of additional space to increase our philanthropic programs and to expand our thrift store. Help us Make a Difference by donating to our Capital Campaign.
The Project
Assistance League of Colorado Springs has purchased land on East Costilla Street in Colorado Springs and plans to build a new 22,500 square foot facility. This stucco and steel stud building will include:
- An enlarged Bargain Box thrift store to increase our revenue that supports all chapter philanthropic programs.
- An enlarged Operation School Bell® area to serve more children in need each year by providing them new school clothing.
- An adequate Philanthropic Center to train volunteers, to work on philanthropic programs, and to conduct chapter administration.
- A large warehouse that will be shared by all philanthropic programs and the thrift store.
Most importantly, our community will reap the greatest benefit as chapter membership grows, increases its fundraising ability, expands its services, and takes on new programs.
